Glaucoma patients often encounter difficulties in engaging with exercise. They may fear an increase in intraocular pressure, or be deterred by concerns about joint discomfort and visual impairment.
In response to these challenges faced by glaucoma patients, Dr. Jaewan Choi, a renowned South Korean glaucoma specialist with 17 years of experience at Central Seoul Eye Center, has initiated the “Customized Exercise Program for Glaucoma Patients” project.
Given the need to develop precise and safe exercises tailored specifically for individuals experiencing joint discomfort or visual impairment, it was imperative to enlist the expertise of a specialist. Hence, we have enlisted the services of fitness expert, and owner of the 200,000-subscriber YouTube channel Foxgyn TV(@foxgymtv) Trainer Danhana.
This video documentation not only details the process of exercise development but also outlines the target demographic and the extensive deliberations undertaken. We invite viewers to watch the first installment of the “Customized Exercise Program for Glaucoma Patients” series, and eagerly anticipate the subsequent uploads, including Part 2 and three instructional exercise videos.
